Our products are made on-demand—once you place an order, we produce it specifically for you. This allows us to avoid overproduction and textile waste, and we’re continuously working toward greener production.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Each product is made on-demand, which means once you place the order, we start working to get it to you. It takes time for us to create and send out the product, but making each order on-demand allows us to avoid overproduction. This way we get to take care of you, and the planet we all share.

Our trellises and earrings are made personally by us here in Mackay, QLD so we can manufacture them relevantly quickly and send them out to their new homes. However, our print-on-demand fashion and homewares are made by our suppliers and do have longer turnaround times. Each product listing provides an estimated turnaround time for manufacturing and shipping.

WHY DOES SHIPPING COST EXTRA?
Due to the made-to-order nature of our products, some will have extra shipping costs involved due to some products having different suppliers. Our trellises and earrings are manufactured by us, locally in Mackay, QLD… so the good news is that we can ship all these items together with a faster turnaround time. For our print-on-demand range of fashion and homewares, extra shipping costs may occur per item. Please check costs in the cart upon checkout.

As Dreamer Design Lab works with on-demand made-to-order suppliers, we only produce items we get an order for, avoiding textile waste from overproduction. Our printing partner’s high-quality printing tech creates almost no wastewaters and uses less energy than standard industry printers.

Made-to-order manufacturing encourages sustainability by avoiding the harmful effects of overproduction.  This significantly helps to reduce waste levels and surplus stock ending up in landfills.
